The base of the wig was so nice! Instead of a short wig like normal ponytail wigs, they actually pull the hair up into a short ponytail and have a clip to put over the top of it. It gives the illusion that you're wearing the actual hair style and makes it more accurate. I ended up trimming the bangs and the ponytail clip to make it shorter. Also for me personally the base of the wig covered all of my hair along my hairline and on my neck and I didn't see any of my wig cap either. To make sure it really stayed on my head I bobby pinned the wig to my head and it never slipped back while I danced.
