As a 5'4 115 lb American female with a lil thickness to them, go ahead and get that medium. I have learned that the smalls are too small to fit comfortably. The medium ones may or may not need to be tailored to fit you. I do not know how to do that so I had to get it done professionally with some mediums from this store. This one didn't really need to be tailored for a medium.
