I ordered this for a Lord of the Ring Galadriel costume. The fabric is on the taupe side of cream and is not see through (I'm wearing a black bra in the pictures and you really can't tell). It's a mid-weight polyester with a tiny bit of stretch but not enough arm room. The upper arms are VERY snug. I am a size medium/8-10 and I bought an XL, the arms feel like they never sized up from a small. If you have meaty arms, please don't buy this. The bodice fits very well and the added cinching in the back helps it create a very lovely shape. There's room in the hips and at 5ft 4in it's long enough to wear with boots or heels and look good. The sleeves are quite long but obviously that fits the look, your hands will be hidden just FYI. Overall, for the price I couldn't ask for much more. I've tried some horrendously fit costumes before and this one is just fine.
